For ship design, multiple organizations such as ship owners, ship builders, and ship classes are involved.
Processing electronic engineering information across the mulitple organizations causes interoperability problems.
One of the solutions for the problem is STEP(STandard for the Exchange of Product model data)-based framework.
STEP-based framwork is tested transferring midship structure drawing from ship yard to ship classes using AP218 ARM format in this project.
